The MOSIN Picatinny mount can be installed on the Kochetov side rail for installing scopes with a Picatinny mount. The mount is machined from high-strength duralumin D16T. The 225mm Picatinny rail is also machined from D16T.
This mount has an option to move the rail, which is provided by a secure "spike-groove" system. The rail can be moved (relative to the aiming axis) in steps of 2.5mm, which allows for optimal alignment of the aiming and rail axes. There is also the possibility of reinstalling the Picatinny rail in two positions (further or closer to the rifle stock).
